The Bachelor is coming under fire yet again, or rather, one of its contestants are. Taylor Nolan, the Bachelor star who first appeared on Nick Viall’s season, recently found herself under the microscope from the Department of Health in Washington state over tweets that she had made approximately 9 years ago.

Taylor, the reality star who is now a mental health counselor, is being investigated by the Department of Health for a number of tweets including one where she said that if one of her clients had ever been diagnosed with a personality disorder, the treatment would be “death.”

Gordon MacCracken – the spokesperson for the Department of Health of Washington state – released a statement to Page Six this weekend in which he confirmed that the organization had received a number of complaints about Taylor.

On her IG, Nolan apologized for her comments from, as she put it, “10 years ago,” and admitted that they were “sh*tty, they suck, and they were wrong.” Reportedly, Nolan received her license to work as a mental health counselor in Washington back in 2016, and she has no “previous disciplinary history.”

The reality star shared that it was actually her passion that led her to make the tweet all of those years ago, and this was the same passion that motivated her to help out those who are in need of counseling.

As it was noted above, Taylor first appeared on The Bachelor back in 2017 during Nick Viall’s season. She then appeared on Bachelor in Paradise where she hung around Derek Peth. She and Derek got engaged following the show’s final episode but they called off their romance in June 2018.

Interestingly, Nolan has since been an advocate for many race-related scandals in the Bachelor world, including the most recent one involving Chris Harrison who announced he would be stepping down from his hosting duties after he called for fans to be nice to Rachael Kirkconnell after pictures of her at a plantation-themed party went viral.

Nolan was one of the members of the Bachelor Nation who argued for Harrison’s firing. Regarding Nolan’s debacle with the Department of Health, the spokesperson revealed that if charges were filed, she could have her license taken away.
